anywho, i got into the rocky mood, singing "the eye of the tiger" while having a shower, da ,da da da, da da da, da da daaaaa. and all these people kept calling asking me about the run. it's like somehow, they knew i'd be in the shower, and decided to call me. i felt like a call center all by myself! 3 of my friends were supposed to meet me at my place and we were to go together, but two of them bailed, namely As and Star. Moony still came over. My father got dressed and drove us to DPS RKP. on the way however, we stopped the car at a red light. After 5 seconds of staring at the big red dragon in front of the magical vehicle, a huge wave came and crashed behind the car, giving us all a jerk. i turned around, nothing. Moony looked to the left and saw what she thought was a head rolling off to one side of the road. Looking back again, we saw a head pop up, two, then three. It wasn't a wave, it was a motorbike. It wasn't a head, it was a helmet. Upon inspection, we found that no one was badly hurt. It wasn't scary, it was kind of hilarious. We continued our journey to DPS RKP. We met up with As, Star, Av and Kandy over there. (code names) . We registered and did the needful. Then made a spectacle out of ourselves but dancing and singing and whistling. People stared. We're used to it. We heard the story of Terry Fox. Little did he know that his decision to run across North America, from coast to coast, would result in his demise. And little did he know that his will and determination, to do good for humanity, would result in thousands of people, all over the WORLD, running in unison, every year, for one cause, Cancer research. This was the 29th year. The Terry Fox Run, to say the least, was fun. We ran together, except for Moony and Av who are athletes, so they ditched us and went ahead. We took pictures, chased the red bull car, sung vacation at the top of our lungs like maniacs and planned to steal a Guava. We didn't eventually. We finished the run. Took more pictures. Took pictures with people we didn't know. And the red bull car, of course. From there we went for Temperature's surprise birthday party after taking a detour to my place first. The party was nice. She was completely oblivious, didn't have a clue about the party! After the party, 9 of us squeezed into a 5 seater (lack of planning, as usual). Star dropped Moony off, then whammy and me to my place. We had fun, facebook, painting, laughing. Then whammy left. Now, i'm sitting here, writting this blog.
You know why i wanted to write this in the first place? Cause i'm an extremely confused person, i have bipolar disorder (i think) and it's hard for me to comprehend my thoughts, primarily because my thoughts differ immensely from my thoughts. Get it? I think it's called adolescence, i'm not sure. :P
A little while ago, i figured, when you speak, you speak your mind, but when you write, you pour your heart out. So, i prefer to write.
This blog is going to be random, sometimes about the happenings of the life of a pre-menopausal victim of mood swings. Sometimes about the thoughts and ideas of a person who thinks way too much. And sometimes, it's just going to be a way for me to let go of my wrath, and frustration.
It shall be anonymous although people who know me, will know exactly who i am. So it won't be completely anonymous after all.
Lets see how long i can keep up with this. Have to go write a "talk" to give in the school assembly, any suggestions?
