I guess women aren't the only ones who go through pms!

So the past few days have been extremely busy and i've barely had any time for myself. Or anyone else, for that matter. So conversation with people has been kept to a bare minimal. But I noticed this new trend going round. It started with my best friend Bhassu. He seemed to be more easily agitated than before. He would snap and then come say sorry. At this one instant when i whacked his head (something i do quite often) he whacked my head back. And then moments later he was alright. As i was pondering over what the hell was going on, i concluded that maybe he had some problems and was stressed. So, when i reached home, i got a text from a random number saying "hey *****, are you alive or dead?" and i was like "whose this?" and i got a reply saying "fine man, you don't recognise me? fine. go die. -.-". So i immediately knew it was my friend Mango. I sent him a text saying "MANGO!" and he got all happy that i'd gotten to know that it was him. As the days dragged on, a friend and I met up at this common friend's party. And he asked me to do shots with him and i refused, saying that i'd made a healthy decision for myself and given my word to Ass i would not go back on my word. He got bloody mad and said "i won't talk to you the whole night unless you do", but i still refused. This incident was followed by a lot of ignoring, shoulder pushes, and eventually an apology. The same conversation took place again, this time it was "i wont ever call you up". So we decided to go do some shots, however, they had run out of alcohol, much to his disappointment, this was again, followed by shoulder pushes and eventually an apology. Finally, while we were near the dancing area, these stupid psychedelic lights kept getting to me so i walked out. This was strike three and was again, followed by a little bit of ignoring and slightly more shoulder pushes but eventually it. all smoothened out. But over the days, such instances increased and now that i think about it, men "pms" more than women. What with all the mood swings and everything? Over the past few weeks, for some reason or the other, maybe "the positioning of the planets" or something, my male friends have been giving me a tougher time than my female friends. The guys seem to be more sensitive to everything we say, and i'm not the only one whose noticed it. It'd odd, considering that i'm the one who has PCOS which results in me having hormone imbalances. So technically I should be the one whose cranky all the time. But instead i'm constantly watching what i say or do because my male friends seem to be going through a tougher time. Speaking of pms, i have this friend in school, a guy whom i'd known for a long time but didn't really talk to much. So a few months ago, when we were rehearsing for sports day in school, he happened to mention that he had stomach cramps and as was my habit, i said "do you have your period?". We were just acquaintances at that point so my question caught him off guard. So he explained how he had some kidney problem or something and that he had been peeing blood or something like that. "AWWW! you got your first period!!" i screamed and since then i've been calling him PMS. Whenever i think of him, PMS pops into my head and after doing a considerable amount of thinking his name surfaces at some point.
The teens are apparently really confusing years, and i'm sure it's like that with everyone, but if you ever got to know the group of people i know, you'd be convinced that most of my friends are literally PMS personified. And as we all hold hands and scream our way through this roller coaster ride, i feel the title of this blog is the perfect description of our teenage years. Cause i'm living with the legendary, pms, itself. :)
