Drip.

This is it. I can feel it. This is it. The wind is strong enough to blow off a rooftop and that's exactly what it's going to do. The storm is so close, I can literally taste the salt.
The bitterness gets to my throat, leaves a weird after-taste. Almost like i somehow knew this is what it's supposed to taste like, but I am still Caught off gaurd.
Its like when you're in school and you haven't done your homework and you know you deserve to get kicked out of class but deep inside you're hoping that the teacher gets hit by lightening and we get teleported to a parallel universe and she doesn't punish you, and is nice to you instead.
The rain is so close, the smell stings my throat. And the dust rises, burning my eyes. A warning. You might not want to see what's yet to come.
The wind is blowing away trees. Knocking at the door. Begging to come in an ruin everything. Your lives. More like taunting actually. It can get in any time it wants. you can run to the basement, or put huge sofa against the door, it'll still get in. Trust me it will.
Ironic thing is, even though you know its a thunder storm, deep down, you are aware of the fact that there is no way that the lightening shall strike and change your fate. And you wait.
You wait in silence, for something, invisible, something that you can't even  see, you come and pull your house out from the roots, and fling it into the air with the strength of a thousand bulls.
   Its coming. Wait.
